My Name is Vesakholu Mero.

I started Collections Flora in the year 2020 during the pandemic Lockdown. I simply made the account for the sake of it and did not think much of selling my plants online. However, I uploaded some pictures of my plants out of curiosity to see how it goes.

Soon, I noticed lots of dm’s asking me for more picture of plants and I started uploading more pictures keeping in mind the price of the plants. I wanted to make it affordable so that the buyers are happy and I’m happy too. It was never about the money. It was for my love of plants that made me to continue with this online plant page.

In the beginning, it was a little hard. I had to figure out how to ship my plants, which couriers to use, the retail rate of plants, etc. Despite, all the obstacles,  I was always happy doing what I loved.

I still remember the immense joy I felt when I first received 500rs in cash from selling my plants. I gave it for church tithe. I was so happy and could not believe that I could earn doing what I love.

I am always grateful for the people who would drop by in the dm’s and encourage me with their kind words. It motivates me and helps me to carry on. Collections Flora is like a little paradise for me. It is a place where I can connect to so many other plant lovers like me.
