To begin with, entering into the realm of photography was not thought of. Nevertheless, in some way or the other way I had a strong fervor towards capturing moments. I still recall the fateful day 1st of April, 2016 when someone barge into our home and took away the memories I stored for years. I had been collecting the best of best pictures, at least in my humble opinion, since 2012 captured with a camera gifted to me by Papa and my cell phone but Alas! all of them vanished along with that person who needed the laptop more. Thereon, the paradigm shift occurred and like most of the perplexed youth of Nagaland, I started tussling as a civil service aspirant. Howbeit, one can’t really shunt the calling. My Sensei, Mr. Yanglem Langti came along as a guardian and guide to the photography world. It won’t be wrong when I should say, I used the nepotism card to learn from him because apparently, he is my cousin. He would insist I work on the basics, take needed courses, and then only work as an intern. Basically, he wanted me to be well versed theoretically and not practically alone. And I must mention strong at basics is a pre-requisite and always works as an impetus at the fieldwork. Since October of 2021, I started venturing on my own still learning with more passion and the zeal of wanting to work harder.
