Temenyanger deems himself as a full-time Artist and part-time teacher. He graduated with his masters from Kohima Science College in Zoology. He started his small business in 2020 and since then there has been many supporters and people that appreciated and understood what he was trying to bring to the Art culture.

On asking about his source of inspiration he said that he always dreamt about having his thoughts and ideas interpreted in papers and clothing. He would often paint during his spare time but never really thought of enterprising or taking it further than a hobby. However, that changed in the year 2020 during the pandemic. Since he had a lot of spare time in his hand he thought of painting his Art and ideas on tote bags for people to carry around. Next thing he knew he was selling his art prints, stickers, totes and cross-body bags. His sticker cost ₹200 for a set of 6 stickers excluding shipping charges.

He has always wanted to be an Artist and knew that he was good at it. Ever since he was a child he was into art and participated in many painting competitions but won only once which made him want to learn and know more about the art Culture. Besides creating his art he still considers himself a student and is preparing for his future studies.

He was painting since grade 5 but not really enterprise until 2020 lockdown, his small business started during the 2020 lockdown.

 

He sell his Original Art, Prints, Handmade Crossbody bags, Tote bags, Stickers, Printed Tee shirts, Postcards and Bookmarks. His Art journey has been quite overwhelming cause the amount of support Received from his followers has been Immense, his future plans and dreams are that he would like to be a Part of Art exhibition or have his own Art exhibition it would be a dream come true.

His message to the youth is that “If you have a style and an idea, don’t hesitate to put it up there in the social media or in the internet cause we never know one day someone might stumble upon your page and see your work and your perspective. It won’t be easy at the start but consistency is the key.

Also use Social media to expose your work and your ideas cause it’s a powerful tool, I always saw it that way“.
