Ronald Jamir is one of the first leading DJs in Nagaland. He is an alumnus of Freelancer Institute, Delhi. He has been a popular DJ performing in many parts of India but mostly in Delhi as he lives in Delhi along with his whole family. He has won good number of awards as well during Hornbill festival in Nagaland including First place in solo performance and couple performance as well. He has been performing in collaboration with DJ Buddha (Peter) for couple of years and has shared the stage with DJ Prema. He has performed in Guwahati, Delhi, Mokokchung, Garo hills, Dimapur and many more.
Being an experienced performer and mentally prepared artist DJ Ronald has so much to say about the dance floor. He said “We should change our mind-set and come to the club: it is to release stress and have some fun and to have positive outlook in life” but most of the people come to clubs with dark intentions sadly which is not it’s actual purpose of playing discs. He further added, “we feel happy when our music could make people dance and enjoy the moment ” but most people don’t come to party floor to have fun instead by having dark mind-set which needs to be sanitized. He also particularly mentioned that in Dimapur clubs, they must hire proper trained and presentable Bouncers who can really tackle the unwanted situations and to avoid unwelcomed argument or fights between guests and bouncers (who usually are not presentable).Bouncers must be able to frighten the violent guests and should be able to earn respect. Added to this, clubs must be properly running and follow professionalism.

Expressing his opinion on other Naga DJs he said some DJs learned by themselves and without formal training they lack in technical area but he said they can learn it if they really work hard.
One very good news for Party monsters is that, in collaboration with other DJs , DJ Ronald has a plan to organised big music festival probably in the outskirts of Dimapur where the experience will be different very soon. Lets finger crossed for its success.
