PRODG’S is a Record label exclusively for hip hop and R&B music. Currently, they have 6 artists working under them. They help independent artists to distribute their talent in and beyond the state. They schedule their concerts, act as a facilitator, network for them and advertise their talent so that the artist grow. They also have a producer in their team to make sure that all the music they create is original and authentic. 

Their vision is defined by the word ‘one’. One team, with one vision, and one goal. Working together as one collective unit, producing all styles of great music. They began their journey on May 28, 2020, in Dimapur, Nagaland, Northeast India.

AkhumLangdithonger is the manager and founder of PRODG’S. He was always fascinated by music, especially the metal and rock genres. He calls his Cousin a role model, through her he got to know a lot about the music industry and all the ins and outs of an artist’s life. That knowledge helped him when he was managing artists under him. 

They look for artists that are musically talented, have a good presence over their fans and listeners, their stage presence, their delivery of songs, their potential, basically a whole background check as an artist before getting them on board. After that, they train the artist for 6-7 months and then if everything goes well they sign the contract and officially debut the artist.

For their upcoming project, they have new music coming shortly, concerts, and have 4 uncharted tracks coming up. In the future, they would also like to house more artists under them.

Their first debut music video ‘Paigham’ released in 2020, which was a diss to the rest of India with a message to people who discriminate against the North East Indians by calling names and making racist comments, won them two awards- Nagaland Music Award and MG Music Awards and also got featured in the northeast news channel APN News.
