Art has always been something very important to me. I’m not sure where my love of art begin but it has always been something that is fun to me since childhood.
I have always had art classes in school even in grade 10 and I’m fortunate to have had positive experience in my art classes.
I have a diverse array of interest and hobbies. I love learning, researching and developing new skills. Out of many hobbies, Quilling art captivates me in a very personal way.
Quilling art is a hand-craft art. It uses strips of paper that are rolled, shaped and glued together to create beautiful designs.
Quilling gives me the opportunity to combine my love of nature with many love of art. Even though I typically don’t see the person I’m creating the art for, sometimes I get a picture of the recipient. The delight on their face when they receive their art is inspiring. I want to create pieces that will make someone stop and rest awhile; pieces that will really make someone to be part of their life.
I’m also Learning Designer at NagaEd. I sell my art too (not just art frames but all sort of crafts under my business name “Timeless Touch”). I have invested my time and money working on it, experimenting, need a lot of patience but the result is always intriguing.
