Zhaputso Khate is a physical fitness trainer and the owner of “Home Gym” located in Kuda (B) village. Khate named his firm “Home Gym” because both him and his family wanted to make their clients feel homely and comfortable. Having completed his Master’s course in Business and Administration from ICFAI university, Dimapur, Nagaland, his passion for physical fitness was inspired by his family members who are all known to be supportive and enthusiastic about physical fitness, all being professional athletes and physical trainers themselves.
Khate’s father was a taekwondo player and his uncles also have been into fitness, in fact, in his words “my whole bunch of family members are sporty and we all play tennis and we enjoy playing different kinds of sports. I should say my family members are my inspiration to start this homely care business.” Hence, his attention towards physical fitness and the importance of it was directed to him from an early age.
About the Gym
The home gym, located in Kuda (B) Village in Dimapur, Nagaland, currently has members from various age groups, the oldest age group being 65 to 70 and the youngest is 17 years of age. Khate’s Home Gym encourages every individual to stay well built and maintain their health. Their main priority is their clients. “In order to make them comfortable we do not provide any special treatment to anyone by providing personal trainers. We wish to make our Gym suitable for all age groups and equal for everyone.” The home gym is more of an independent gym where individuals are given the liberty from personal attention and all are instructed and coached equally.
