Ingredients:
(18 cm Mould)
- 215g All-purpose Flour
- 10 g Cocoa powder
- ¾ tsp Baking Soda
- 1 ½ tsp Baking Powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 200g white sugar
- 180g Buttermilk/Milk
- 1 tbsp Vinegar (White/ apple Cider)
- 150g softened Butter
- 3 Eggs
- Red Food Colouring
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract

(7-inch Mould)
- 1 1/3 cups All Purpose flour
- 1 ½ tbsp Cocoa Powder
- ¾ tsp Baking Soda
- 1 ½ tsp Baking Powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup sugar
- ¾ cups Buttermilk/ milk
- 1 tbsp Vinegar
- 1 ¼ sticks Butter
- 3 Eggs
- Red Food Colouring
- Vanilla 2 tsp
- Preheat the Oven to 350 degrees F(180 degrees C)
- Beat the butter, add in sugar, and mix on medium until combined
- Add Egg in one at a time beating each until well combined.
- Add Vanilla extract
- Add red food coloring and Vinegar to the buttermilk
- Sift in Cocoa powder to the butter mixture
- In a large bowl, sift the dry ingredients together
- Add ½ of the dry ingredients one at a time to the butter mixture and mix it until combined
- Add the red buttermilk mixture and mix until combined
- Pour the butter into mould
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes
- Leave the cake to cool for 10 minutes, and enjoy your irresistible freshly baked red velvet Cake.
